How do I change from lbs to kg?
Open the Settings screen (gear icon) from the main navigation. Toggle the unit selector between lbs and kg — all weights and plate labels throughout the app update instantly.
How do I configure which plates I have available?
In Settings, tap Plate Configuration. Toggle each plate denomination on or off to match the plates available at your gym. MaxRep will only suggest plate combinations using the plates you've enabled.
How do I pick my lifter profile?
In Settings, select your lifter type under Lifter Profile: Athletic/CrossFit, Regular Gym-Goer, or Powerlifter. Your selection affects rest periods and rep tempo in the warmup plan.
How are personal records tracked?
After completing a session, log your max weight for a movement. MaxRep stores this as your PR and displays it alongside your warmup plan each time you select that movement — so you always know what you're working toward.
Does MaxRep require an internet connection?
No. MaxRep works entirely offline. All your data — settings, plate configuration, and personal records — is stored locally on your device.
Does MaxRep require an account or subscription?
No account and no subscription are required. MaxRep is a one-time download with an optional one-time in-app purchase to permanently remove banner ads.
How do I remove ads?
Tap the Remove Ads option in Settings. This triggers a one-time in-app purchase processed securely through the App Store. Once purchased, all banner ads are permanently removed.
I purchased "Remove Ads" on one device — can I restore it on another?
Yes. In Settings, tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID that made the original purchase, the ad removal will be restored at no charge.
A movement I need isn't in the list. Can I add custom movements?
MaxRep currently includes 63 built-in movements. If you'd like to see a specific movement added, email us the suggestion at support@techonforged.com — we consider all user requests for future updates.
How do I delete my data?
All MaxRep data is stored locally on your device. To remove it completely, delete the app. No data is held on our servers.
